RAJASTHAN TOUR PACKAGE

Day 1: Arrival Delhi
Meeting and assistance upon arrival and transfer from
airport to hotel. Afternoon sight-seeing tour of OLD DELHI
visiting the Raj Ghat - Jamia Mosque - Red Fort - O/N at the
Hotel.
Day 2: Delhi
Morning, sight-seeing tour of NEW DELHI visiting the
Humayan's Tomb, the Qutub Minar, drive along the ceremonial
avenue-Rajpath, past the imposing India Gate, Parliament
House and the President's Residence and end the tour with a
drive through Diplomatic Enclave. Afternoon Free. O/N at the
Hotel.
Day 3: Delhi - Agra (235 Kms / 5 Hrs)
Transfer from hotel to the Railway Station in time of
Departure : Delhi at 06 15 hours by Shatabadi Exp.
Arrival Agra at 08 10 hours (Breakfast will be served in the
train) Meeting and assistance upto arrival and transfer from
Railway Station to hotel. Afternoon, sight-seeing tour of
Agra city visiting the impressive Agra Fort, the local
bazaar and of course the most perfect architectural monument
in the world - The Taj Mahal. O/N at the hotel.
Day 4: Agra - Jaipur (221 Kms / 5 Hrs)
Morning drive to Jaipur enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri (221
Kms / 5 hrs) the deserted, red sandstone cityhat was built
by Emperor Akbar as his capital and palace in the 16th
century. Also visit the Bulund Darwaza the largest gateway
in the world. Continue your drive to Jaipur upon arrival
check-in at the hotel. O/N at the hotel.
Day 5: Jaipur
Morning excursion to Amber Fort. Make your ascent to the
palace fortress on the gaily caparisoned elephant back. Tour
the chambers and hallways of the palace which are famous for
the excellence of their design and deciration. Afternoon
tour of Jaipur known as "THE PINKCITY OF RAJASTHAN". Visit
the unique Jantar Mantar Observatory, which was built in the
1700's, the City Palace and its Museum, the Hawa Mahal. O/N
at the hotel.
Day 6: Jaipur - Mandawa (168 Kms / 4 Hrs)
Drive from Jaipur to Mandawa. On arrival Check-in at the
hotel. Afternoon sight-seeing tour to Mandawa. Visit the
Mandawa Bazaar which has many painted houses, part of which
have been turned into shops. This dessert village is
peaceful and serene. O/N at the hotel.
Day 7: Mandawa - Bikaner (190 Kms/ 4 Hrs)
Drive from Mandawa to Bikaner. On arrival check in at the
hotel. Afternoon, city sight-seeing tour of Bikaner this
desert town in the north of the state was founded in 1488 by
Rao Bikaji, a descendant of the founder of Jodhpur, Jodhaji.
Visit the Junagarh Fort constructed between 1588 and 1593 by
Raja Jai Singh. Also visit Camel Breeding Farm (closed on
Sundays). O/N at the hotel.
Day 8: Bikaner - Jaisalmer (340 Kms / 9 Hrs)
Drive from Bikaner to Jaisalmer. On arrival check in at the
hotel. O/N at the hotel.
Day 9: Jaisalmer
Morning sight-seeing tour of Jaisalmer. It is in the heart
of the Great Indian Desert. Its temples, fort and palaces
are all built of yellow stone. Afternoon optional excursion
to sand dunes (40 kms) to witness sunset. O/N at the hotel.
Day 10: Jailsalmer - Jodhpur (308 Kms / 8 Hrs)
Drive from Jaisalmer to Jodhpur. On arrival check in the
hotel. O/N at the hotel.
Day 11: Jodhpur - Udaipur
Morning sight-seeing tour of Jodhpur - gateway to the
desert beyond, home of the rathors of Marwa. Visit the Fort,
rising up a hilly scrap, built on the advice of a hermit,
which overlooks the city in the image of a long sentinel.
And continue your drive to Udaipur, via Ranakpur (259 kms/7
hrs). A visit to the famous Jain Temple dating back to the
15th century. It's 29 halls are supported by 200 pillars,
none of which are alike. The Temples abounds with intricate
friezes and sculptures. Continue your drive and upon arrival
at Udaipur check-in at the hotel. O/N at the hotel.
Day 12: Udaipur
Morning, sight-seeing tour of Udaipur, stopping first at
City Palace. Here you will marvel at rooms with mirrored
walls and ivory doors, colored glass windows and inlaid
marble balconies; and the peacock courtyard. Also visit the
lovely Sahelion-ki-Bari Gardens; the Jagdish Temple; and the
local folk museum, Afternoon, motor launch cruise on the
placid waters of Lake Pichola. Also visit the Jag Mandir
Palaces-the lovely island palace in the middle of the lake.

Day 13: Udaipur - Delhi
Transfer from hotel to the airport in time for :
Departure : Udaipur by air
Arrival : Delhi
Meeting and assistance upon arrival and transfer from
airport to hotel. O/N at the hotel.
Day 14: Delhi - Abroad
Transfer from hotel the airport in time for Departure to
DELHI.
