Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Delhi
Welcome at the airport, transfer to the hotel in the
center of Delhi for overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2: Delhi - Agra (4 Hrs - 200 Kms)
Travel to Agra in the morning and transfer to the
hotel. In the afternoon, visit of the Red fort and
of the fabulous Taj Mahal. Night at the hotel.
Day 3: Agra - Jaipur (5 Hrs - 230 Kms)
Road from Agra to Jaipur. We’ll stop in the ghost
town of Fatehpur Sikri, situated 40 km west of Agra.
Going forward to Jaipur, the pink city, and transfer
to the hotel.
Day 4: Jaipur
In the morning visit of Amber Fort. Return to Jaipur.
During the afternoon, walking visit of the old pink
city. Night at the Hotel.
Day 5: Jaipur - Jodhpur (7 Hrs - 300 Kms)
Departure in morning in direction of Jodhpur. Visit
of the old city, starting from the Clock Tower, and
Sardar Market. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 6: Jodhpur - Jaisalmer (7 Hrs - 300 Kms)
Visit of the Meherangarh Fort. Long road through the
desert of Thar. At the end of the day arrival in
Jaisalmer. Overnight stay in an hotel.
Day 7: Jaisalmer
Visits of Jaisalmer, the citadel-city. Overnight
stay at the hotel.
Day 8: Jaisalmer - Desert of Thar Riding on
Dromedary
Departure in the morning by jeep through the desert.
Lunch in the village of Khuri, where we will meet
the cameleer’s team. Departure riding on camel
towards the middle of the desert. Arrival at the
camp at sunset. Dining and camping in the dunes
(tents, mattress, sheets and blankets are all
provided).
Day 9: Desert - Jaisalmer
After the sunrise and breakfast, return to Khuri
riding on camel by a different route. Return by the
jeep to Jaisalmer. Free afternoon. Overnight stay at
the hotel.
Day 10: Jaisalmer - Ghanerao (8 Hrs - 350 Kms)
Departure in direction of the village of Ghanerao,
located at the bottom of the Aravellis Mountainss.
Overnight stay at the fort.
Day 11: Ghanerao - Udaipur (2/3 Hrs - 100 Kms)
Visit of the arts and crafts village, Ghanerao.Short
visit to Ranakpur. We carry on our route up to
Udaipur passing through the landscapes of the
Mewar’s mountains. Night at the hotel.
Day 12: Udaipur
Visit of “Venice of the East” built around the lake
Pichola. Stroll in boat in Pichola Lake, visit of
the Palace and the commercial lanes. Overnight stay
at the hotel.
Day 13: Udaipur - Pushkar (7 Hrs - 300 Kms)
Departure in direction of Pushkar. Arrival at the
end of the day. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 14: Pushkar - Night Train for Delhi
Day In Pushkar: visit of the small city, strolls in
the neighboring villages. At the end of the day,
transfer to the train station. Overnight train
(sleepers) to Delhi.
Day 15: Delhi - International Airport
Arrival at Delhi in the morning. Transfer to the
hotel in the center of Delhi. Visit of Delhi. In the
evening, transfer to the international airport.
