Floating in splendid isolation, east of the Indian mainland
is the archipelago of 572 emerald islands, isles and rocks
known as Andaman & Nicobar Islands. This union territory
stretches over a length of more than 700kms from North to
South with around 36 inhibited islands. Once a hill range
extending from Myanmar to Indonesia, these undulating
islands are covered with dense forests and endless variety
of exotic flora & fauna. The topography of the islands is
hilly and abounds in evergreen forests. The sandy beaches on
the edge of meandering coastline are fringed with coconut
palms that sweep to the rhythm of the sea. The sea around
the Islands offers excellent scope for adventure water
sports. The rare flora and fauna, underwater marine life and
corals, crystal clear water and mangrove lined creeks offer
a dream view of the rare gifts of nature. The clean and
unpolluted air attracts any nature lover who seeks absolute
peace and transquity in the lap of Mother Nature. Adventure
tourism like trekking, Island camping, snorkeling, scuba
diving are the major attractions here.

PLACES TO SEE:
NEIL ISLAND
The Island is situated in South Andaman and to reach the
Island one has to undertake 2 to 3 hrs of journey by a boat.
HAVELOCK ISLAND
An Island located in South Andaman group and to reach the
island it takes 4 to 5hrs by regular ferry or 2 hrs if there
is a speed ferry. A beach at Radhanagar is world famous.
RANGAT ISLAND
Located in middle Andaman at a distance of 210 kms from Port
Blair, one has to undertake journey across Jarawa Reserve
Forest or by a ferry via Neil Havelock to Rangat. The
Journey to Rangat is an exciting experience when you travel
across dense and green forest and cross the creeks by a
vehicle ferry.
MAYABUNDER ISLAND
Head quarters of North Andaman, at a distance of 360 kms
from Port Blair and 85 km from Rangat Island. The beaches
around the island attract tourists.(Visit to Rangat Island
or Mayabunder is regulated by permit granted by Police
Department. Interaction, Photography of tribes is a non
bailable offence)
CINQUE ISLAND
Declared as a sanctuary, these are enchanting islands with
rare corals and under-water marine life and tropical rain
forest. There is a beautiful sand bar joining the North
Cinque and South Cinque islands. Suitable for Scuba diving
and snorkeling.
MOUNT HARRIET
The summer headquarters of the Chief Commissioner during
British Raj, this place is an ideal place for having a nice
and fascinating over view of the outer islands and the azure
sea. It is the highest peak in the South Andamans (365
metres high). One can trek from Bambooflat to Mount Harriet
and from there upto Madhuban through nature trail. Mount
Harriet is a National Park also. Rare endemic birds, animals
and butterflies can be seen during the trekking.
Gandhi Park
After an hour's halt at the beach, you will drive down to
Port Blair to visit Gandhi Park, where amusements for
children like Toy Train, Pedal Boats, etc., are available.
The park has a lake, a walk around, a narrow foot-path
provides you a great feelings due to its environments.
Before your return to the stay you will be taken to Cellular
Jail Complex to watch Sound & Light Show at Cellular Jail.
CHIRIYATAPU
Famous for enchanting view that it presents to the visitors
and a paradise for the Bird Watchers. Adorned with a
beautiful beach, Chiriyatapu offers you a best picnic spot,
a great 'Sun Set'.
ISLAND EXCURSIONS

a) CORAL ISLAND (Full day tour)
Jollybuoy Island or Redskin IslandA full day tour to watch
underwater coral and marine life through glass bottomed boat
. To reach the island , we shall first take you to Wandoor
National Marine Park by a vehicle to embark a motor Launch.
Safe for swimming and snorkeling.
b) ROSS ISLAND (Half day tour)
Historically important - located at the mouth of Port Blair
Harbour , Ross Island was the seat of Imperial
Administration till the island fell into the hands of
Japanese in 1942. Known as the 'Paris of the East' the
island is having old buildings and monuments of immense
Archaeological value.
c) VIPER ISLAND (Half day tour)
Viper Island stands as a mute witness to the grim sufferings
that the freedom fighters of our country had to undergo
during the British rule. The British used to keep dangerous
prisoners who resorted to hunger strikes and non-cooperation
at a jail built in the Island.
d) HAVELOCK ISLAND
An Island located South Andaman group and to reach the
island it takes 4-5 hours by a motor boat. A beach at
Radhanagar is world famous. Most ideal place for
tent-camping. At Havelock, the tourism department has
accommodation right in front of the beach. Subject to
availability of ship sailings, guest can visit the island
with an itinerary to return on the same day however we
recommend a guest staying at least 1 night in the
island.(This tour is covered under our 5 nts or 6 nts
package deal)
